Capacitor Potential Energy Calculator

Capacitor Potential Energy Calculator. Calculates total electric potential energy(power) stored in a Capacitor. The maximum stored energy is essentially the integral of the charge with respect to voltage in a network.

The energy stored in a capacitor can be expressed as,

U = 1/2 * C * V²

Where,
  • U : electrostatic potential energy
  • C : capacitance
  • V : Potential Difference

                        Capacitance [C] :

            Potential Difference [V] : V

      Stored Potential Energy [P] : J
