Formula:
GPH = (GPM x .006 x PPM) / % Concentration x S.G.
Where,
- GPM = flow to be treated.
- .006 = Constant.
- PPM = Dosage required.
- % Concentration = Concentration of chemical in pumped solution
- Use full number (15% solution is [15] in formula not (.15)).
- S.G. = Specific gravity at pumped solution.
Example:
2% solution is required for pumping a 55 gallon feed tank is in use and 12% chemical is available.55 x 2
