Marconi's Law Calculator

Marconi's law Calculator tool calculates height of the antenna from antennas and maximum signaling distance.

Marconi's Law Defnition:-
The maximum good telegraphic signalling distance varies as the square of the height of the transmitting antenna.

Marconi's Law formula:-
Marconi's Law formula

Where,
  • D : The maximum signalling Distance
  • H : The height of the Antenna
  • C : Some constant Value

Marconi's law Calculation:-
Signal's Distance (D): meters
Constant Value (C):
Height of the Antenna: meters

Marconi's law Constant value Table
C D Apparatus
0.17–0.19   60 kilometres (37 mi)    Marconi's original apparatus
0.15–0.16   60 kilometres (37 mi)    Same, with longer sending spark
0.12–0.14   136 kilometres (85 mi)    Marconi's improved apparatus, with jigger in receiver
0.23–0.15   143 kilometres (89 mi)    The same, but with Italian Navy telephonic receiver
